When we undertake the act of connecting with someone on a level that is physical, emotional, and psychological-a powerful exchange of energy takes place. Very powerful indeed. This is why the act of making love with someone is so intimate and vulnerable. It fundamentally alters your relationship with that individual on a level that is hard to measure and is often beyond what we can truly understand. That is why it is so essential to practice sound partner selection when you choose to engage in that loving act with another individual. There is no going back once you've moved things to that level.
